These Community Guidelines set out the practical standards for what content and conduct are allowed and prohibited on Tapylapy. They supplement our Terms of Service and Safety Policy — not replace them — and should be read together.
1) Scope of These Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to all content and conduct on Tapylapy, including posts, reels, stories, comments, live streams, messages, and profiles. They come in addition to — not instead of — our Terms of Service and Safety Policy.
These Guidelines do not create any provision that conflicts with or limits the scope of the Terms of Service; they are interpretive, detailed guidance on community conduct within the authority the Terms grant Tapylapy, and the Terms of Service remain the controlling reference for any conflict relating to limitation of liability, dispute resolution, or account termination.
Violating any provision of these Guidelines is also a violation of the Terms of Service, with all the consequences described in Section 14 "Enforcement" below.
2) Nudity & Sexual Content
(A) Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE)
(B) Adult Nudity & Sexual Content
Tapylapy is not an adult-content platform and is not marketed as one. Given the restrictions app stores (the Apple App Store and Google Play) place on this type of content in general-audience apps, we remove or restrict the prohibited sexual content described below. We apply this rule reasonably, consistently and proportionately, with regard to context, and our decisions are final only subject to the review options in the Safety Policy.
Specifically and without exception, the following are prohibited:
- Pornography and explicit sexual acts.
- Sexual nudity, and content whose purpose is sexual arousal.
- Intimate images or videos published without the consent of the person shown in them (non-consensual intimate imagery).
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving real, identifiable people without their explicit consent to that specific use.
- Any content where there are reasonable grounds to believe it simulates or normalizes sexual exploitation, regardless of the actual or claimed age of the people shown.
Non-sexual content is generally fine, for example: breastfeeding, medical or educational content, non-sexual art, and swimwear in its ordinary context (such as a beach or pool). We look at the context and purpose of the content when assessing it.
Not removing a particular piece of content at an earlier point in time does not waive Tapylapy's right to remove it later, and does not create any precedent obligating the platform to allow similar content in the future.
3) Hate Speech & Discrimination
Any content that attacks or demeans a person or group based on a protected characteristic is prohibited, including but not limited to: race, ethnic or national origin, nationality, tribe or clan, region, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender reassignment, immigration status, social class, pregnancy or maternity, marriage or civil partnership, age, or serious disease. This content is prohibited regardless of any claim that it was intended as humor, satire, or artistic critique. We assess whether particular content falls within this prohibition reasonably, consistently and proportionately, with regard to context, and our decisions are final only subject to the review options in the Safety Policy.
Criticism of ideas, beliefs and institutions remains allowed; attacking or demeaning people for who they are is not.
4) Bullying & Harassment
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Repeated, unwanted contact with a person after they have clearly asked it to stop.
- Threats of any form of physical, psychological, or reputational harm.
- Degrading or demeaning content directed specifically at an identifiable person by name, image, or other identifier.
- Publishing a person's private information without their consent, with intent to harm, endanger, or embarrass them ("doxxing") — such as their home address, personal phone number, workplace, or official documents.
5) Violence & Graphic Content
Detailed rules on violent and graphic content are set out in Section 13 of our Terms of Service — Peace, Safety & Prohibited Content. In addition, under these Guidelines it is specifically prohibited to: glorify acts of violence or their perpetrators, display real graphic gore or corpses without necessity for a legitimate news or educational context, provide instructions or guidance for making or using weapons or harmful materials to hurt others, and promote, glorify, or support terrorism, violent extremism, or designated or unlawful organizations. Promoting, depicting or encouraging others to imitate dangerous challenges, games or acts that could expose participants or others to serious physical injury is also prohibited.
6) Self-Harm, Suicide & Eating Disorders
Supportive, awareness and recovery content is allowed, as is sharing a personal experience in a manner that does not provide imitable detail or methods. Depicting or promoting self-harm is not allowed. We classify content on this subject reasonably and consistently, with regard to context.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. If you are struggling or thinking about harming yourself, we encourage you to reach out to someone you trust or to a mental-health helpline or support organisation in your country. If you come across content suggesting someone is at imminent risk, please also report it using the in-app reporting tools; see the Prohibited Content section of our Safety Policy for further detail.
7) Misinformation
Publishing, sharing, or promoting content that falls within the following categories of misinformation is prohibited:
- Serious health misinformation: false claims about treatments, vaccines, or disease outbreaks that are likely to cause direct physical harm to someone who believes or acts on them.
- Civic or electoral process misinformation: false information about the time, place, or method of voting or participating in a civic or electoral process, or content intended to discourage voters from participating.
- Manipulated or synthetically-generated media (deepfakes) presented as authentic: any image, audio, or video that is altered or AI-generated and presented as genuine, unaltered footage without clear disclosure of its synthetic nature, including cases also covered by the broader deepfake and impersonation rule in our Safety Policy.
We classify content within these categories reasonably, consistently and proportionately, with regard to context, and our decisions are final only subject to the review options in the Safety Policy. We may label content rather than remove it, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
8) Authenticity & Anti-Manipulation
Users may not use fake accounts, bots, or coordinated networks of accounts to artificially inflate views, likes, followers, gifts, or rewards. See the Gift Rules section of our AML/KYC & Rewards Policy for additional detail on the specific prohibition against fake gift-exchange networks.
Impersonating any real person on the platform — not only broadcasters or other creators — is also prohibited, whether through an account, name, or image presented as theirs. See the broader deepfake and identity-impersonation rule in the Prohibited Content section of our Safety Policy for further detail.
9) Live-Streaming Specific Rules
- Broadcasting any illegal activity live is prohibited.
- Soliciting or encouraging viewers to pay off-platform to circumvent the official gifting system is prohibited.
- Extorting or deceiving viewers into sending gifts (for example by falsely claiming urgent need, applying emotional pressure, or promising something in return that is never delivered) is prohibited.
- Manipulating the results of challenges (PK) is prohibited, for example by agreeing an artificial outcome, using fake or coordinated accounts to inflate points, or exchanging gifts for show.
- Selling or reselling coins outside the official channels in the app, or advertising that, is prohibited.
- The stream's host is primarily responsible for the guests they invite onto interactive seats during their stream, consistent with the interactive live-seat provisions in our Terms of Service, including by using the moderation tools made available to them (such as mute or kick controls), while Tapylapy remains responsible for its own obligations under law.
- Impersonating another broadcaster or creator on the platform is prohibited.
Gifts already received by the recipient during a live stay with the recipient; ending a live, including by force (by an administrator, by moderation, because of an account ban, or by the system), does not reverse gifts that have already arrived.
10) Intellectual Property
Intellectual-property claims and takedown procedures are governed entirely by Section 4 of our Terms of Service — Intellectual Property; these Guidelines do not duplicate that process.
11) Spam & Artificial Engagement
Posting repetitive, unsolicited content; content designed to artificially bait engagement (such as "like, comment, and follow to win" with no genuine prize behind it); or advertising fake contests or giveaways that are never actually fulfilled, is prohibited.
Using automated accounts (bots) or automation tools to post, interact or send messages artificially is also prohibited, and any paid promotion, advertising or sponsorship must be clearly disclosed (for example with a clear statement in the post or stream); undisclosed paid promotion is prohibited.
12) Prohibited Goods, Services & Fraud
On Tapylapy it is prohibited to sell, offer, promote or facilitate any of the following:
- Illegal drugs, including selling or promoting them or teaching how to use or make them.
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives, including selling or supplying them.
- Fraud, scams and phishing, including deceiving people to obtain money, personal data or passwords, and impersonating an organization or person for that purpose.
- Promotion of gambling and real-money betting.
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation services, or offering sexual services.
13) Privacy & Recording Without Consent
It is prohibited to photograph, record or broadcast people without their knowledge or consent where the law requires it or where they reasonably expect privacy (such as changing rooms, bathrooms and other private spaces), and to publish anything captured that way. This does not cover people appearing incidentally in public places. The rule against publishing private information in Section 4 also applies here.
14) Enforcement
We apply these Guidelines reasonably, consistently and proportionately, with regard to context, and our decisions are final only subject to the review options in the Safety Policy. We may update these Guidelines in line with Section 15. See also Prohibited Content in our Safety Policy.
Actions we may take: a warning; removing content; restricting features; limiting the reach of content; suspending or ending a live stream; temporary suspension of the account; permanent ban. Actions are proportionate to the seriousness and context of the violation and escalate for repeat violations, as described in the Safety Policy. We may take the most serious action immediately for serious violations. Where possible we tell the user the reason for the action. To ask for a decision to be reviewed, send your request to our support team through the in-app tools or at [email protected] (see also the review options in the Safety Policy). A review request is decided by an authorised administrator on the facts of the case, and we aim to reply within 30 business days. Making a request does not by itself suspend or undo the action.
How to report and block: You can report posts, comments, messages, profiles and live streams in the app using the in-app reporting tools, and you can block any user who is abusing you. The steps are in the Safety Policy. For safety concerns you can also write to us at [email protected].
Violating these Guidelines is also a violation of the Terms of Service, and all provisions and consequences under the Terms of Service apply accordingly, including forfeiture of any unwithdrawn coin or reward balance upon account termination for a violation classified as a "serious violation" under the definition set out in the Terms of Service, with no right for the user to claim compensation for that forfeiture, and you agree to this by accepting the Terms of Service. We apply that definition reasonably and assess the facts and circumstances of each case individually, and our assessment is subject to review as described above. If, after review, a ban, an account termination or a financial freeze is found to have been wrongful, the account is restored and the full balance is returned.
15) Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice (at least 14 days, except where a change is required by law or needed urgently to protect safety) through the app or by email. If you continue to use the service after the effective date, the updated version applies to you where the law allows; if you do not agree, you may stop using the service and close your account.
